HGF Huskie Wear is here!

Check out a sampling of the apparel we have for sale.  I will be at school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning, Tuesday and Thursday after school, and Friday night during basketball.  I have some cash and carry items, but will be taking orders as well.

Holiday Craft Day

HGF PTA will be having a Holiday Craft day this Saturday, December 3rd from 9-12.  Come enjoy hot cocoa, cookies, and Christmas crafts.

DON'T FORGET!!!!

Barnes & Noble book fair to benefit HGF will be this Friday, December 2nd.  There will be free gift wrapping, and special events in the kids department starting at 3PM.  A percentage of all purchases designated for HGF will be donated back to HGF.  If you can't make it there on Friday, you can still shop online from 12/02/11-12/07/11 by entering Bookfair ID 10583847 at checkout. This also pertains to cafe purchases, and Cheesecake Factory cheesecake purchases! See you there!

Wanted Items

Our school nurse is looking for donations of white tube socks, and size small underwear for her stock.  ALSO, we are starting a collection of supplies such as hand sanitizer, tissues, clorox wipes etc. for teachers who may not have a supply, such as the Unified Arts teachers.  These teachers have every student in the school, but most don't receive donations like our classroom teachers do.  There will be a collection bin in the front entryway of the school.  Please feel free to bring any donated items before your parent/teacher conferences!!!

SCARECROW CONTEST

Hey everyone-Ms. Morse and her sons, Joshua and Sam, are creating a scarecrow that will be at Mack's Apples in Londonderry in their annual scarecrow contest.  People can go and vote for their favorite scarecrow by making a monetary donation, and the winning scarecrows will be able to donate the earnings to their school!!! Let's all show our support of them and HGF!!!!

HGF is now registered with Stop &Shop A+ rewards program.  All you need to do is go to Stopandshop.com/aplus and register your card, this will help our school make money from certain purchases.

***POPCORN ALERT**

Because of the new Healthy Snack program that gives all children at HGF a healthy snack on MWF, the kids will be getting their popcorn on Thursday.  Please continue to send in  money on Wednesday.  We will be popping and delivering the popcorn to the classrooms for distribution on Thursday.

FUNDRAISER

Hey everyone-don't forget the Fall Fundraiser is due by next Friday, Sept. 30th.  Pies and cookies will  be delivered by Thanksgiving-and you will love them!!!!

HANNAFORD SCHOOL DOLLARS

We are enrolled in the Hannaford School Dollars program, that runs until December.  If you get a school dollars receipt when you shop, send them into school and have your children put them in the collection container in front of the main office.  DO NOT put them in the tower at the Hannaford on John Devine Dr., as HGF will not get credit for those placed there.  Also, feel free to ask your cashier if they have any, as some people leave them at the store...just one more way for our school to make free money!!!!!

PTA MEETING

DON"T FORGET!!! PTA "meet and greet" tomorrow night at 6PM in the art room with the first meeting following at 6:30.  If you are new to our school or the PTA, please come and meet the officers and learn about our great organization.  You can also become a member for only $5!!!! We hope to see you there!!

Our "special" teacher (health, art, music, library) are in need of supplies such as tissues, hand sanitizer, clorox wipes, pencils.  We all are so generous donating to our classrooms, but these teachers need supplies too!!! Please donate if you can!
